MilSim Corps Mercenaries
The MilSim Corps has a Mercenary Program. The program allows teams to substitute needed players to attend the League Championships.
Qualifications: 1) The player must be the rank of Sergeant or above. 2) The player must be Senior Sniper qualified or above. 3) Successfully complete the Mercenary Mission. Mercenary Mission The Mercenary Mission is a challenge between individual players competing to achieve Mercenary status. Mission: Your mission is to go alone and take out a VIP Target. The VIP will have two guards protecting him. You must take out the target before he is picked up by the transport convoy. Time is of the essence! This is your first solo assignment as a Senior Sniper. If you successfully complete the Mission, you will be awarded Mercenary Status. Format: Three players will compete against each other in a series of 3 games. A dummy (VIP) is placed in the woods. Two players will be Guards and protect the VIP and one player will be Merc and try to take out the VIP. The players switch from Merc to Guard so that all 3 players get a chance to be Merc once and Guard twice. Each player will get 15 minutes to complete the Mission. Winning: 1) The player that completes the Mission in the fastest time wins. 2) If no players complete the Mission, the player with the fastest time to shoot a Guard wins. Eligibilty: Players do not have to wait to become a Sergeant and Senior Sniper to compete in the Mercenary Mission. As soon as you become a Private and have Basic Sniper, you can compete for Merc status. If you win your Mercenary Mission, you will have requirement 3 completed. And when you complete requirements 1 and 2, you will be awarded Merc status. This rule allows players to participate in the Mercenary Mission whenever it is available since Authorized Fields may only run this Mission only a few times per year. The Mercenary Mission will be scheduled on a Mission Day so that players can compete in this event before or after their team's Mission. Minimum eligibility requirements to compete: 1) Rank of Private (E-1) 2) Basic Sniper Mercenary Usage Rules: 1) A MilSim Corps Mercenary may play on any team in any game as requested by a team. 2) A team may substitute up to 2 players per game with MilSim Corps Mercenaries. 3) The MilSim Corps Mercenary may play the following roles as a substitute on another team: a.Communications b. Demolition c. Sniper d. Infantry 4) The MilSim Corps Mercenary may NOT play the following roles as a substitute on another team: a. Leader b. Medic Cost: 1) There is no cost to compete in the Mercenary Mission. 2) A player may compete in as many Mercenary Missions as they choose until they reach Merc status. Application: 1) The player needs to submit the Application for Mercenary Status. Available March 1, 2011. 2) Once approved, you may order the custom made Mercenary Patches that have your Member ID embroidered. 3) Your player profile will also be listed on the Mercenaries page for all teams and league members to view. Uniform: 1) All Mercenaries may wear a set of custom made Mercenary Patches on the collar. 2) Patches will be available for order March 1, 2011. |
